Your dog’s coat will be thoroughly brushed and combed both before and after bathing. This process removes any tangles or matts and stimulates the skin to release and circulate natural oils in the hair.

I will focus on the paws to trim away unwanted hairs between the pads which can become uncomfortable for the dog.

I then pay close attention to the ears, both cleaning out any wax build-up with a gentle lotion and dislodging hair from the ear canal, which could lead to too much moisture and
possible infection.

Finally I will examine the nails and clip them
 where necessary.

This is for the general health check
